Freeman of the City of London and of the Scriveners Company

David Taylor one of the partners in the firm was today made a Freeman of the City of London and the Scriveners Company at a ceremony in the Chamberlains Court at the Guildhall in the City of London.

There are several myths surrounding the grant of the Freedom of the City not least being that a Freeman has the right to drive sheep over London Bridge. Unfortunately this is a myth.

David Taylor is the head of our Corporate team and however historic the ceremony, it shows that this firm has a link to the commercial heart of the City and although not situated within the Square Mile can offer a full range of corporate services to our clients.

David is also a Notary Public and can assist you in obtaining “legalisation” of all documents that need to be sent outside the United Kingdom. You can contact him on dxt@hanne.co.uk.
