Lorna qualified in 1997 and has since specialised in family law. She now specialises entirely in child care work representing parents and children. She is on both the Law Society’s Children Panel and the Family Law Panel.

Prior to joining Hanne & Co Lorna trained with Alistair Harper & Co in Sussex, she remained with that firm after qualifying and was appointed as head of their family law department. In December 2002 Lorna left Alistair Harper & Co and then took a year out travelling. Upon her return she undertook locum work at various firms before joining Hanne & Co in May 2005.
