About Claire

I am a Partner in the Wills, Probate & Trusts Department, but also cover some areas in the Family Department. I worked as a Registered General Nurse for many years before studying law. I deal with Wills, Probate, Administration of Estates and Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and I specialise in contentious probate, where there are disputes over estates. This can involve disputes over Trusts for Land, which overlap with my work on financial issues on relationship breakdowns. I try to listen to my clients’ individual circumstances and look at achieving not only a fair resolution to disputes, but one that is practical and workable.

Out of work I have two children who are still in full time education. I enjoy skiing, reading, and country walks.

About Prue

I have been qualified as a solicitor for over 20 years and joined Hanne & Co in 2013 to form part of their Wills, Probate & Trusts team. I deal with Wills, Administration of Estates, the preparation and registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters. I also provide advice on Inheritance Tax issues. I like to treat my clients as individuals and provide a service that is tailor made to their specific needs.

Away from the office I enjoy travelling, reading and gardening.

About June

I joined Hanne & Co’s Wills, Probate and Trusts department in 1998. I have since specialised in the drafting of wills, applications for probate, the administration of estates and court of protection work including lasting powers of attorney, registration of lasting powers of attorney and appointment of deputies. I commenced training with the firm as a Solicitor in January 2011.

I participate from time to time in schemes for free wills run by charities. If clients have difficulty with access to our premises, I can visit them at home. Out of work I am a Trustee at Wandsworth Bereavement Service. I enjoy meeting up with family and friends, walking and crosswords.

About Amaya

I studied Music at Durham University and subsequently attended the College of Law in York where I completed the GDL and obtained a distinction in the LPC. Prior to commencing my training contract at Hanne & Co, I volunteered at my local Citizens Advice Bureau in Scarborough, whilst also working as a professional musician. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and undertook a month’s work placement in a legal practice in Seville where I was able to learn about a foreign jurisdiction and use my language skills. Following qualification, I joined the Private Client team at Hanne & Co where I specialise in Wills, Trusts and Probate.
Away from work I enjoy playing the piano, violin and singing, going to the theatre and travelling to foreign countries!
