On Thursday 11 July 2014, three Hanne & Co. partners and two trainees joined forces with a team from Coram Chambers to compete in the 2014 Standard Chartered 5km Great City Run, raising money for the charity ‘Seeing is Believing’
We are delighted that every member of our team finished the race in less than 40 minutes. Our results were as follows:
Lorna Cservenka (Public Family Partner): 23mins 26 seconds;
Rachel Cooper (Private Client Trainee): 24mins 17 seconds;
Isadora (Conveyancing Trainee): 28mins 40 seconds;
Elizabeth Francis (Family Partner): 31mins 5 seconds;
Grainne Fahy (Family Partner): 38mins 8 seconds.
It is said that what you believe depends on what you have seen – not only what is visible, but what you are prepared to look in the face. Every team of four or more who entered the race raised enough money to train one health worker in primary eye care in over 25 countries in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
