Charlotte is a Solicitor Advocate within the Criminal Department and became a Partner in 2020.
Charlotte began her studies in Law at Queen Mary University of London, obtaining a degree in Law in 2008, before going on to complete the LPC at BPP Law School in 2009. Charlotte is currently studying towards a Masters Degree in Human Rights, at Birkbeck University of London.
Charlotte qualified as a Solicitor with higher rights of audience in 2012 and later obtained her duty solicitor accreditation.
Charlotte worked as a Solicitor Advocate in crime within another leading London firm after qualification, before joining Hanne & Co in 2017.
Charlotte is able to undertake work at all stages within the criminal process, from representing clients at the police station, to conducting trials in the Crown Court. Charlotte regularly appears at the higher courts, conducting all hearings from the preliminary stage to appeal.
As well as being an avid advocate, Charlotte has a criminal caseload and very often prepares serious cases, to include complex fraud and murder. Charlotte especially enjoys preparing cases involving serious fraud or business crime, and regularly receives instructions in such matters. Charlotte is currently instructed in a complex money laundering matter where the alleged value is £1.9 million.
Outside of her work and studies Charlotte enjoys travelling, spending time with family and friends, and has a keen thirst for writing and fashion!
