'Dealt with Daniel Bacon, he was a true professional and some, from start to finish. Hanne & Co. are lucky to have Daniel in their great team.'
Wills, Probate & Contentious Probate
Daniel assists Partner Claire Martin in the Private Client Department, mainly working on wills, probate and contentious probate matters.
Whilst studying for his LPC LLM at the University of Law, Daniel has become interested in the laws governing taxation and the validity of wills. He enjoys litigation as well as providing non-contentious advice.
Daniel is a Trainee at the firm and has previously worked in the Property and Civil Litigation Department, advising clients on possession proceedings, succession, and legal or beneficial interests in land. There is sometimes considerable overlap between the administration of death estates and property litigation matters, and Daniel’s experience in this field, and his frequent attendances at Court and mediation, are valuable to his present work.
Daniel has his GDL from the University of Law and previously took an MA in the humanities.
Daniel has previously done work for the Free Representation Unit appealing benefits decisions of the Department for Work and Pensions, and running homelessness appeals and defending possession proceedings under a Legal Aid Housing Contract.
