Jackie specialises in care proceedings and has practiced family law since qualifying as a solicitor in 1995.
Jackie has enormous experience in care proceedings in which she acts for children, their parents and carers. She has a breadth of experience acting in cases involving allegations of abuse, emotional harm and neglect.
Jackie is regularly instructed by Children’s Guardians, often in situations where children are separately represented in disputes between their parents over such issues as residence and contact.
Jackie also advises and acts in adoption proceedings.
Before joining Hanne & Co Jackie worked with people with drug and alcohol problems, many of them parents. It was this experience that first led her to want to work as a solicitor within family law.
Jackie also advises on civil partnership issues, especially relating to children. Jackie speaks fluent German.
Out of work she enjoys tending to her allotment and she is a very enthusiastic percussionist, often travelling abroad to fine-tune her skills.
