Family & Divorce Law
Kirsty joined the firm and started her Training Contract in October 2019. She is currently in the Family & Divorce Law Department under the supervision of Anna Gowen and Catherine Withers.
Working predominantly on cases involving children and domestic violence she has gained much experience of the court system – in particular with the numerous kinds of hearings. Her duties also include drafting witness statements for Child Arrangement Orders.
Kirsty finds that her natural empathy helps with difficult cases where vulnerable clients require emotional as well as professional support from their legal team.
Kirsty studied Law at Exeter University, graduating with an Upper Second-Class Honours. Kirsty then completed her LPC LLM at the University of Law in Bristol, achieving a distinction. Whilst studying, she participated in a range of pro-bono work such as assisting victims of domestic violence.
In her spare time, Kirsty enjoys travelling and has recently travelled around South East Asia. She also enjoys staying active by attending classes at the gym.
