“Mary has worked in a variety of legal accounts positions including as a sole charge cashier for a multi office firm and heading larger accounts teams.”
Mary has worked in legal accounts for 22 years since starting at a City law firm as a part time archivist. She was taken on full time and trained as an accounts assistant when the vacancy arose. Since then she has worked in a variety of legal accounts positions including as a sole charge cashier for a multi office firm and heading larger accounts teams. This work has been in firms covering a variety of different areas of law. She enjoys being involved in financial management and considers accounts management to be hugely important in the smooth running and future planning of a firm but recognises that accurate day to day transaction records are vital for clients and fee earners and for efficient file management. Accounts can provide an invaluable support service to a firm or really let it down, Mary, and the teams she manages strive to provide the best support possible.
She is a non solicitor Partner and is a member of Hanne & Co Solicitors LLP
When Mary is not at work she has 2 children who like to keep her busy, but if she is allowed to have some free time (usually outside of football season) she enjoys reading or going to the gym which helps combat the effects of having a bespoke cake maker as a sister as she also makes sure she supports her sister by sampling the latest offerings as regularly as possible.
