This weekend, 19th and 20th February 2011, our lawyers are just some of the 440 people taking part in the Walk The Thames sponsored event, a 40 mile walk spread across two days.
The event’s route runs from the Thames Barrier to Putney on day one and from Putney to Richmond on day two. So far, Hanne & Co has raised a massive £1971.75 in sponsorship – but we have less than 24 hour to raise even more.
All of the money raised will go towards funding London’s many free legal advice centres which depend entirely upon the goodwill of volunteers and hard working staff.
Legal advice centres are often the first port of call for many people and provide an absolutely vital resource to local communities.
